A little bit about Proven Reserves.
When it comes to mining and resource extraction, the goal is getting to a mineral reserve - unless your name is UEC as they really don’t care. But a Reserve is a protected term, regulated by JORC, NI 43-101, or SK-1300 - depending on the incorporated home of the entity. But Australia, Canada and the USA have all pretty much aligned their regulations and terms; they all essentially mean the same thing. You have resources, be they inferred, indicated or measured, which through pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, can be converted into reserves. Once you have a reserve and the accompanying feasibility study (note: not a pre, but full feasibility), investors can have a far greater confidence that the mine will actually go into operation or be economically viable enough that someone might buy it. And for that reserve, the highest confidence level you can have in such is a Proven Reserve.
So yea, I was pretty pleased with myself when I came up with the name Proven Reserves.
I do want to lay out a few disclosers of course - always remember: I am just analyzing. I have not and cannot account for every variable that could happen. I could even be wrong about something. Basically - I am not your fiduciary, so all investments you choose to make are at your own risk. That said, I hope you find what you read and are informed about here to be of value, and I always appreciate feedback.
If I own, have a stake in the valuation - up or down, of an enterprise’s stock (other than being apart of an ETF like $URNM) and such enterprise is mentioned in the post, it will be disclosed.
If I ever become successful enough at this to have someone, be a mine or otherwise, desire to pay me to post something, and such an arrangement comes to fruition, please note: it will be disclosed in that post, and all the words will be my own, as well as any evaluation or analysis.
